Leadership and Management Strategies for Clinical Investigators

This four-day program offers clinical investigators a chance to cultivate their leadership skills to maximize their impact. Equipped with new tools and frameworks, clinicians gain a sense for how to leverage their personal leadership strengths to build collaborative work teams and navigate competing demands in their work. Led by Kellogg faculty in an interactive classroom setting, participants learn practical and effective approaches to topics including organizational culture, feedback and persuasion strategies, strategic time management, and diversifying funding sources. Participants build a foundation of research-tested management and leadership skills that can be applied to the business side of science, and a network of peers to support continued professional growth and development.
