Thanks to United Way of Metro Chicago for their partnership in this non-degree custom executive education program. This program offered philanthropic business leaders the opportunity to explore service on the boards of directors of local nonprofit organizations while deepening their knowledge on some of the challenges facing our city. Our holistic training and educational curriculum provides participants with a deep understanding of community opportunities and challenges, along with the tools to best leverage their skills in service of Greater Chicago.
Our training embodied the commitments that Board service requires, with regular classroom-style sessions held over several months, including homework assignments that were completed in between. Upon successful program completion, each participant had the opportunity to be matched to a nonprofit board of directors to begin their service.
