Nonprofit leaders are often at the forefront of social justice movements. Diversity, equity and inclusion are not just today’s buzz words but serve as a radical call to action for deep systemic change impacting every aspect of the nonprofit organization and community in which you find yourself.
Join us for an intensive exploration of these topics in which you will look within yourself to understand diversity, equity and inclusion. You will explore systemic inequities that are pervasive in our communities as well as analyze your own beliefs and biases that will become the basis for uncovering ways that you can become an agent for change. The curriculum will then shift as you begin to discover ways that you can help your teams and organizations become more equitable through human resources and talent management, communication strategies and how your organization measures outcomes and communicates impact. In addition, you will be introduced to tools and frameworks that can guide the implementation of these concepts within your organization.
